I have a question for people who have been to Sri Lanka at least once: how did you get from the airport to the hotel? I have seen some stories from people, they do not advise taking the bus, because firstly it is very hot, and secondly it is inconvenient with suitcases. I would like to order some kind of transfer, but I do not know which one is better for me to choose.

Where exactly did you book the hotel, what part of the island do you need to get to? I sometimes fly to Sri Lanka with my family, we like the climate here the most and the Indian Ocean is amazing. I usually order a transfer Sri Lanka airport on the GetTransfer website and since we have a rather large family, I immediately choose a minibus and we all get in there, along with our luggage. I am sure that if we were to get there by public transport, someone would definitely lose some suitcase and that would be a problem. How long do you plan to stay in Sri Lanka?
