Plant the corms in soil that is well drained and has lots of sunlight to grow Gladiolus flower successfully. They grow well in warm weather and therefore it should be planted during spring after the final frost. Separate the corms with spacing of 4-6 inches and plant with a depth of 2-4 inches. Watering should be regularly done, particularly in dry seasons, however, do not over waterlog. Staking might be necessary as the plants become taller. Given good care, gladiolus will yield bright flowers that will beautify any garden or floral display.
