How to Fix Chipped Tooth After Accidentally Biting Something Hard? (16 อ่าน)

I accidentally chipped a tooth while eating a hard food item, and now I'm unsure what I should do next. The tooth isn't causing severe pain, but there is a noticeable rough edge and mild sensitivity when I drink something cold.
I started searching for how to fix chipped tooth and found that different treatments may be recommended depending on whether only the enamel has chipped or the fracture extends deeper into the tooth.
While looking for professional guidance, I discovered Imperial Smiles Dental Clinic, which provides dental treatment in Gurgaon. I think getting the tooth examined would be better than trying to determine the severity of the damage myself.
Has anyone experienced a similar accident? How quickly did you visit a dentist, and what treatment did you receive?
I'm also wondering whether sensitivity after chipping necessarily means the nerve has been affected. Some people online seem to suggest that any sensitivity is serious, while others say minor sensitivity can happen after enamel damage.
Another concern is whether the tooth could develop a larger crack if I continue chewing normally. Until I can schedule an appointment, I'm considering using the opposite side of my mouth for chewing.
I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced a chipped tooth. What should someone avoid doing immediately after the injury? Any personal experiences regarding how to fix chipped tooth would be helpful.
